Copalis Beach, Washington September 3, 2013

This morning we woke up to a hard rain. By the time we got ready to leave it had moderated a lot, and was only lightly raining. The further south we went the lighter the rain was, until by the time we got to Aberdeen the sun was coming out.

Cindy was able to get several pictures of more of the beautiful scenery. We noticed some of the trees turning color. Is fall in the air?

The Pacific Ocean by the RV Park.

We made it to the Sunrise resort at Copalis Beach by about 12:30. Once we got checked in, we went for a walk on the nearby beach. It had turned into a really nice day. Cindy found a few mostly intact sand dollar shells.

After we walked back to the RV Park, we took a short drive to the nearby town of Ocean Shores to buy a few groceries.

We drove about 150 miles today and are now relaxing. Thanks for visiting.
