I Must Have Needed Another Project

Riverton, Utah              High 85 Low 62

It still has been warm here. There hasn't been any rain and the weather guessers aren't predicting any in the foreseeable future. It is so dry in Utah (and Nevada) that there are several wildfires going with homes under evacuation watch. Yesterday the smoke was so bad that we could hardly see the mountains to the east of us. It doesn't help that it has been very windy.

We went to some yard sales yesterday and Cindy found a stained glass panel. When she asked about it to get a price, she was told $5.00, which she couldn't turn down. Now I have a new project, to paint the frame and hang the panel in our dining room at the front of our home.

It measures about 30 x 40 inches, so it was a real bargan.

Cindy has been busy with her garden and quilting. I have been doing quilting, for Cindy and one flag quilt for my customer.

The next ones are Cindy's, obviously she likes little pieces.

In the meanwhile, I went to see the vampires to take blood samples for the kidney doctor I see tomorrow. I hope it goes well.

Thanks for visiting.

Today Is A Special Day

Riverton, Utah          High 84 Low 59

It was warm today and has been a little warm for this time of year all week.

Twenty nine years ago, Cindy and I got married. So you see that it is a special day for us. We met almost 31 years ago on a blind date put together by my sister, who worked with Cindy. So, sometimes I wonder how she puts up with me, but I wouldn't want to be without her.

As it turned out the whole country celebrates our anniversary with us, after all it is Flag Day.

Sorry, no pictures today.

Thanks for visiting.

Lots More Quilts

Riverton, Utah          High 78 Low 57

Yesterday was a record high for the date and today is back to more normal.

We have been working on the yard and doing more quilts. I hope you don't mind more quilts pictures, but that is all I have, so here goes:

These are some I did for my customer.

This pattern is called Oh My Gosh. Cindy has made several of them, This one was in Christmas colors.

The tape measure give an idea of how small the pieces are.

The next one says I spy with my little eye. Obviously a kids quilt.

Pumpkin quilt Cindy made from a kit.

And finally, a 3-D quilt, which made it harder to quilt. I'm sure the piecing was harder also.
