Moved to Pilot Knob RV Park

Pilot Knob RV Park    High 82 Low 58

Yesterday we went to Algodones again. We had shrimp tacos again from a different place. They were as good as the first ones. We also did a little Christmas shopping. The line to get back to the US was longer than the first time, but moved a lot quicker, so we got out of Mexico a lot faster. We needed a few groceries, so we went to the store in Yuma. We went back home to our 5er and just hung out the rest of the day.

Don't they look good, they were.

Today I wanted to go to the Yuma Indoor Market. It was a big disappointment for me. We wanted to go to McDonalds to use their Wi-Fi, and spent a while there. Cindy looked at her recipes on line while I shopped for a fold up ladder that I wanted. I found one on eBay for about 35 dollars less than I could get it anywhere else, so I bought it there. It will be waiting for us at home when we get back to Utah at the end of the month. I also found the folding cover I wanted at Amazon on sale with free shipping, so it also will be waiting for me. Cindy said that I spent so much today, that she threatened to take my computer away from me, but she forgot I can still do it on my IPhone, LOL.

We went back to the 5er, and it was so hot, that we decided to go to the Pilot Knob RV Park for two nights. While we were at The Casino, someone left a flyer on this and other campgrounds, offering 2 free nights for listening to a spiel on buying into their resort systems. I can say no quite easily, so we have unlimited electric and sewer for two days. After that we will go back to the Q Casino until we get our glass. The Park is OK, but is older and is nothing special.

Cindy is fixing the shrimp; she found the recipe for the other day. While we were out, we bought a lemon for the shrimp, and when we came into California, the inspector wanted to take it away from us. Fortunately, Cindy had the receipt for the lemon, and we had bought it at a grocery store in Yuma, so she let us keep it. We didn't know about the rule of not taking citrus into California.

  1. Glad they let you keep your lemon. They get pretty picky about such things.

  2. Even I know about that rule... You don't remember the time we went to Disneyland with Grandma O? We had to eat all the fresh fruit before we got to the border? Any way Glad you are having fun see you when you get home.
