Looking Like Christmas December 4, 2013

Riverton, Utah High 19 Low 1

Today it was clear, but very cold. As you see above it only got up to 19 degrees today and 1 degree is forecast for tonight and tomorrow night.

We are still working on getting ready to travel again. Our truck and trailer had registrations that came due in July. We don't plan on being here then, so we wanted to do whatever was necessary to get the dates changed to December.

We went over to the State DMV to see about getting the changes made to accomplish this. We got a very peasant lady to wait on us. I don't know how she was able to make all the changes I requested, but she got it done without even having to get new licence plates. I was expecting to have to buy new plates, so was pleasantly surprised.

Part of why she was so nice was that her parents are a little older than us, and she mentioned how her mother didn't want to have a trust set up to avoid probate when they die. I told her I felt it was important and really didn't cost that much for a lawyer to set up. She totally agreed with me and said she would continue to try to get her parents to do it. I hate to say it, but this is one of the few things I like to have lawyers do.

We got our Christmas tree put up and it looks like Christmas around here. Devon helped put lights and ornaments on the tree. Of coarse the kids are excited about Christmas coming.

Before.

Working on the tree.

After all the ornaments, mantle, couch table are decorated, and the Santa painting is over the fireplace.

Thanks for visiting.
