We Like This Park

Neskowin, Oregon          High 72 Low 55

The weather has been delightful. Nice sunny days and not too warm at night.

Yesterday morning we started off the day with a free breakfast at the clubhouse. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy or pancakes, and hash browns.

Penny has even got used to the bunnies and has quit whining to go chase them. Maybe she has decided she can’t catch them when she does chase them. Some of them have seemed to get used to her and don’t even run when she walks by.

Yesterday afternoon there was an ice cream social. Lots of people to attended.

Then last night we had a pot luck dinner. The RV Park furnished the roast and everyone that attended brought sides. We had lots of good food. I brought Cindy a plate to the trailer and then went back and got mine. There were so many desserts, that there were still some left this afternoon.

As I was walking Penny last night, I got invited to sit at a campfire and talk for a while. Everyone seems to be friendly.

The park isn’t quite as full as it was since a lot of people have left. There are more empty sites than I noticed last evening.

A lot of the people I have talked to are here from Portland and most of the license plates seem to be from Oregon with a few from Washington.

Cindy is still in a lot of pain whenever she tries to sit up but she says she is doing better. I hope she gets well soon.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Nice that you have a nice park to wait it out while Cindy is on the mend. Soon your will both be good to go.
