Another Party

The weather went from warm to very  cool for this time of year. It rained most of last night and we had one night that got clear down to 37 degrees. Cindy covered her tomatoes just for safety sake.

Yesterday we went to another birthday party. This one was for our now 7 year old great grand-son, Ryler. Where does the time go? I remember when his mother was only three years old.

The kids were able to play outside for a while and seemed to enjoy each other's company.

I finally finished my first quilt since we've been home. We have been here for six weeks, and it took us about two weeks to build and fill the planter boxes, so it took me about a month to quilt this quilt. The panel is called Dream Big, and the panel alone has 57 different patterns in it. Then it is a huge quilt, measuring almost 120 inch square. 

 

Now it's Cindy turn. It will take her a while to sew the binding.
