It is still warm and the weather guessers are predicting cooler weather by next week end.
Here it is Labor Day week-end already. I hope everyone has a good Holiday.
We have been busy bottling apples and freezing tomatoes. The apples are a lot of work, with the peeling, slicing and cooking. We have had lots of apples fall in the winds, but we still got a lot of nice apples.
We still have a lot more apples to bottle.
Just so you don't forget, I finally finished a quilt I have been working on for the last 3 weeks. With the wedding and fruit, I hadn't spent a lot of time on it. It still took a log time to quilt with all the different patterns in it, along with some color changes.
Thanks for visiting.
I remember long days of peaking and canning Apples. That was in another life.

It's about time.
The apples look scrumptious. And another beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is absolutely gorgeous. I assume is was done by the two of you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt. I just don't have the patience to do that many patterns in that many tiny spaces!! I'm going to leave that to you!! It's beautiful! As for the apples ... yikes you do have a few! Thankfully no one planted anything like that around here!! LOL
