Yuma, Arizona High 67 Low 40
Yesterday was windy all day and it felt cold. We had rain from about 10:00 AM till about 8:00 PM last evening. The wind kept up for quite a while longer.
Our car got so dirty from all the sand in the air, that Cindy said it looked like we had been four wheeling in the desert.
Today was a lot nicer day and i even washed the car. It does look a lot better.
And now for some more Quilt Show Pictures. The second show was Saturday at Sun Vista. They have a large quilt group and had a lot of entries. This show charges a small entry fee, which goes to a local charity. With the entry fee, you get a ticket for a chance in a raffle, which is drawn every half hour. And wouldn't you know, Cindy's ticket number was drawn the first drawing after we got there. They had several bags with prizes to pick from and she won a 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 inch block packet which I'm sure cost a lot more than the $2.00 entry fee.

Winner winner chicken dinner!! Some of those quilts are amazing, but that's WAY too much work for me!!! It must take them forever to sew.
