The weather has been pleasant. It is still a little warm for the time of year, but at least there is no snow. Utah sure needs water though.
I have spent the last week finishing a Christmas quilt called Santa in the Pines. It was a kit that Cindy had to have last year. I talked about it in a post titled "She Promised she would be good, and then she wasn't. I have put a link in case anyone is interested. Here are pictures of the finished quilt.
The outer green border wasn't part of the kit, but Cindy wanted to add it to make the quilt a little larger.
Like the title says, I am finally caught up with Cindy. She has a lot of quilts started that she plans on working on when we get to Yuma.
She has been busy harvesting her garden. Tonight we had BLT sandwiches with fresh tomatoes from the garden. Neither of us think store bought tomatoes are near as good as the one you grow yourself.
One of my customers brought a quilt over today, so I don't get too use to resting.
Thanks for visiting.
That is a beautiful quilt. Your quilting is outstanding!ReplyDelete
Wow ... that quilt is amazing! You certainly do a fabulous job of quilting, not to mention Cindy's sewing those teeny tiny pieces. Don't worry, you'll be behind again in no time once you get to Yuma!! LOLReplyDelete
