We Made It Home To This?

Riverton, Utah      High 57 Low 36

We drove back to Utah and stayed in St. George on Monday. We had a pleasant enough drive to there and then drove to Orem, where we visited Cindy’s mom at the assisted living place. She is scheduled to go home on about the 20th.

Tuesday night we went to Devon’s Cub Scout presentation where he got his Arrow of Life. I guess he goes into Boy Scouts next. He got quite a few awards and badges.

They all the Cub Scouts made kazoos and some bean noise makers. They seemed to have fun doing it.
It has rained the last two days and been quite cool. I’m used to the warmer temperatures of Yuma.

I also had to have a blood test taken. I really do miss Yuma.

Tomorrow I have to see out tax man and have a Doctor’s appointment in the afternoon. We are almost too busy.

I also finished one of Cindy’s quilts. It was an easy all over Christmas tree lap quilt. I’m saving the hard ones for later.

And of course Cindy started doing yard work until her back got the best of her. It looks like we are going to have a good fruit crop this year, that is, if we don’t get a hard frost. The peach trees have lots of blossom and the apricot tree has started to have small apricots on it.

Busy, busy, busy.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Welcome home, we miss Yuma too, still too cold here. Have fun there.

  2. The weather is always a shock when I get home! Glad you made it okay ..... keep up the quilting work!! Just remember how terribly HOT Yuma was getting!!

  3. I have a feeling you'll be spending more and more time in Yuma.

  4. Glad to hear you splurged for good tires, that was very responsible of you to get Cindy home! Save some apricots for me, please. When are they ripe? Does Cindy want me to hold off planting the garden until she can be here to help me again? I'm pretty antsy, I know it's still too early though. Let me know when you're heading North, just try to hold off until that certain date, wink wink.
