Yuma, Arizona High 63 Low 44
The weather here has been cool. Most of the week we had wind and lots of dust. In spite of all the dirt in the air, we found lots to do.
Our friend Nancy came to visit. Monday I played shuffleboard wile Cindy and Nancy went to chair yoga. Monday afternoon Nancy and I took Penny and Cooper to Yappy Hour at the small dog Park. Cooper was okay at first, but he soon decided he didn't like some of the other dogs, and so Nancy took him back home.
Tuesday was the day we picked to go to Algodonas for our yearly meds. We left early and were through with the Pharmacy quickly. Then Cindy decided she wanted to go to a shop we have been to before to look at pottery and wall hangings. She found some tiles she liked for one of our concrete benches back in Utah. Looks like I have another project when we get back.
We then went to a grocery outlet store we knew about, where we and Nancy found ice cream for a really good price. Of course some of it jumped into our cart and made it's way home with us.
By then it was time for lunch and so we took Nancy to our favorite Taco Stand where we all had shrimp tacos.
The air Plane was lost for many years until it was found somewhere in a barn in Minnesota, where it was brought back to Yuma and restored and now hangs in City Hall.
While we were there we also got to see the first fire engine for the city of Yuma, a 1916 Model T frame.
Thursday we went to the Arizona Market to the fabric store, but I will talk about that on my next post.
Thanks for visiting.
