September Already?

Riverton, Utah             High 89 Low 57

It's been a little cooler but is supposed to be getting back to 100 Saturday, then cooling back off to more normal. There is even talk of snow in the mountains of northern Utah and southern Wyoming.

I'm afraid not much has change here for us. We still haven't gone anywhere. All the campgrounds around us seem to be full, especially for Labor Day.

A while back I said Penny was spoiled, but I have decided that she is not spoiled. She just has me well trained. Every night she has to have her Dentastick. The only problem: she hasn't got enough teeth left to chew it, so guess who has to cut it up and then break it into pieces? Yep, me. Then after she has her treat it is time to go for her evening walk. She always lets me know. We usually go about 3/4 of a mile, which seems to be plenty for her short legs. Like I said, she has me well trained.

Cindy has been busy making quilts and I have been busy quilting them. The one I'm working on now has taken me almost a week and still is not finished. I will have to put pictures of it on the post when I get it finished.

Cindy saw something on the internet that describes me exactly. This Pandemic has turned me into a dog: I wander the house all day looking for treats. If I get too close to a stranger, I'm given an emphatic  NO! And when ever we go on a car ride, I get really excited!

The good thing about it is that we are getting excellent gas mileage, we get about a week to 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of gas.

That's it until next time.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Hahahaha so I guess I'm very well trained also. I definitely wander the house all day looking for food and really get excited when I get to go out in the car. Too funny!!!! Penny is so sweet she deserves to be spoiled!!

  2. Penny definitely has you well trained.
I think we are turning into dogs and it's starting to show. We're probably getting the same fuel mileage.
Looking forward to seeing your next Quilt.
Be Safe and Enjoy the cooler temperatures.

    It's about time.
