Yuma, Arizona High 78 Low 46
The weather here has been quite unsettled. One day it will be like summer and the next back cold. We had strong winds for three days last week and after the sun goes down it gets cold.
We had two quilt shows to go to at two different Parks. The first Park didn't seem to have near as good of show this year, compared to other years. No where near as many entries and the number of vendors was way down. The other Park had a nice show, but again, the number of vendors was way down.
The quilt store at the Arizona Market, Bonnies Fabrics, is closing at the end of this season and she is liquidating all supplies. Right now they are giving 40% off of everything in the store, and every time we have gone, they are really busy. This is where we buy most of our fabric, and Cindy says that after they close for good, she will probably only buy fabric at yard and estate sales.
I think Cindy has probably made 20 quilts since we have been here since November.
