Chinook Wind October 26, 2013

Lincoln City, Oregon High 61 Low 45

Today started out foggy and fairly cold.  By 10:00 it was up to 52 degrees and we decided to go into town and check out the Casino. We found out they have a lunch buffet for $8.95 for seniors. Before we had lunch, we went and checked out the RV parking. They have a big parking lot designated for RVs where you can boondock free, and I have been told, for as long as you want, so long as you are doing something at the casino. Security also comes through once in a while, so it should be safe. The first two pictures, are of the regular parking lot.

If you are passing through Lincoln City, the Casino parking looks like it would be a nice place to boondock for a day or two. It looked like a lot of nice rigs there. They even have shuttle service from the RV lot to the Casino, if needed.

Tuesdays they have a $5.95 lunch buffet for Boomers. You have to sign up for their Boomer Club, and there are other benefits for seniors. For instance, on the first and last Tuesday of the month they have a free slot tournament for the first 150 boomers to sign up. It might be fun. Only problem is, the sign-up starts at 6:30 in the morning.

Also they give you $5.00 in free slot play with their Player club card. Cindy and I used our $5.00 and Cindy left with $3.20, and I let with $2.20. We are really big gamblers. They did get it back for the buffet. The buffet was good, and if you leave hungry, it’s your own fault.

This afternoon, we saw something we haven’t seen for a while. The sun actually came out, and there was blue sky. I guess it’s not foggy on the coast all the time.

Thanks for visiting.
