St George, Utah High70 Low 34
Today was spent visiting St. George Quilt shops and finding
a new store in Hurricane. Ray also had to get his yard sale fix. He said it’s
been a while.
Our second quilt shop and our favorite store in St. George,
Scrap Apple Quilts had a 20% sale on books and patterns. We could not resist. We even went back to get
this pattern. When we saw it we both thought it was quit striking, but may be
more challenging than we wanted to tackle at this time. So we bought this one
and this book. Oh yes, we had to buy
material also, some batiks that were on clearance.

Inside the Quilters Cottage. The old ceiling was quite neat. |

On our way back to the 5er, we found Main Street Quilting
Cottage. We visited for a time and Ray showed one of the three owners a trick
for the Gammill Long arm. Quilters just like RVers are more than willing to
share tips.
