Ready to leave. |
We left home at about 9:30. We got set up at the Elks at about 3:00. It was nice weather all the way with no wind. We had no problems getting here. The internet said that we would have 20 amp service, but we actually have 30. We are the only RV here.
The Elks have a large building with a bowling alley in the basement.
We look pretty lonely all by ourselves.
Some of the other Alaska blogs that we have enjoyed following gave day by day mileage, animal sightings, and expenses. Since this is the first day of our Alaska dream, here are ours.Total mileage for the day; 230. Total expenses; $10.00 for staying at the Elks. Animal sightings; lots of cows and horses, and one dog pulling a man on a skateboard.
Cindy was too slow to get a picture of the dog, so I guess that's it for today. Thanks for visiting.
You mean you didn't count the cows? Cindy - you need to have that camera always ready just in case. lol
