Our Trip to New Hampshire

Bethlehem, New Hampshire High 72 Low 55

Saturday night we stayed at Cold Hollow Cider Mill. They were kind enough to let us park in their parking lot. They had lots of samples of their products, and we bought a few.

Sunday we drove to Bethlehem, New Hampshire and are staying at the Apple Hill Campground. It is a rather small RV Park, but the office man was very nice and accommodating.

Cindy got a lot of pictures of our drive through Vermont and New Hampshire. There seem to be a lot of trees everywhere. The landscape is a lot different than out west. It also has been a lot cooler than Salt Lake. Our son called, and it has been up to 103 in Salt Lake, but for this time of year, that’s about normal.
The date at the top says 1833.

This, and other sections of the road, for short distances, were as bad as we encountered in Alaska last year.

Last night it started to rain, sometimes hard, and it didn't quit until about 2:00 this afternoon. Cindy has told me forever, that to get green, it takes a lot of rain.

We had wanted to see the Gorge south along I 93, but it was raining and the clouds were so low, that we weren't able to see any mountains. We have already seen the Old Man of the Mountains in the past, so we will have to be satisfied.

Tomorrow we leave here for Maine.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. I'm glad you saw the Old Man of the Mountains previously because it collapsed in 2003. I think they are going to build some kind of memorial or visitor center near it. But you should see that area of the country in Autumn. It's incredible.

  3. It's one of the few areas in the East that doesn't have a lot of traffic. Enjoy.
