Cindy Finally Got Out

It seems like it has rained some every day we have been in this part of the country. Yesterday we woke up to heavy rain; at least I thought it was heavy. That is until this morning. We had sun shining in the window with really heavy rain coming down. The prediction is for spotty rain today and partly cloudy starting tomorrow. Oh well, it is what it is.

Yesterday Cindy finally felt well enough to go for a ride. It has been three weeks and she got tired of being cooped up. I’m glad she’s feeling better.

The first place we stopped was……..wait for it…….the quilt store in Long Beach. I’ll bet you didn’t see that coming. lol   And she found some fabric and a pattern she liked. Another big surprise! We found out that the National Row by Row starts Tuesday, so we will have to go back to get the free pattern. I’m pretty sure they don’t have too many customers on crutches.

We had planned on going to Astoria to visit the other two quilt shops there, but decided to wait until Tuesday so she can get the free patterns. We did go to Costco and Fred Meyer’s to get a few things we needed.

By the time we got back to the trailer, Cindy had had enough for one day.
