Riverton, Utah High 37 Low 27
We were busy unloading the truck and trailer today. I'm sure I heard a big sigh of relief from the trailer when we got everything unloaded.
I have a few projects to do before we head for Arizona. I want to build a cabinet in back of the kitchen table to hide all the stuff we carry.
The other thing is to get a storage box to go in back of the fifth wheel hitch that is low enough not to interfere with hitching up and unhitching. I have tried to find one on line, but haven't had any luck, so I might have to have it built. It would seem to me someone else would have thought of it, but maybe not.
Cindy overworked today and her back started hurting her again. It's not like we have to get it all done in one day.
I also got the water lines blown out and dumped anti-freeze down the drains, so we should be good till we leave again.
Cindy told me she would like to find an RV Park where we can spend some time and not be playing tourist all the time. I guess we are getting out of the vacation mode.
Our freezer gave up while we were gone and I found one I thought we would like. It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I guess this is one of the joys of having a home.
The kids really like Penny and think they would like to get a dog. But we won't let them because having a puppy is a lot of work and takes a lot of time, as we have found out. Even a sweet little thing like Penny would be more than they would do.
That's all I have for today, thanks for visiting.
It's always something when you come back to the house after being closed up for 6 or 7 months.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cindy ... although I totally love seeing the country, I think staying in one place for a few weeks before moving on would be a little more relaxing, not to mention being able to see more of one specific area.
ReplyDeleteIts getting late to make reservations for long term stays down here in Mesa... I would be on that project first thing, if that;s what you want to do....
