Columbus, Texas High 48 Low 36
We left the RV Park at Cleveland at almost 10:00 this
morning. It was cold last night and all day.
We had a fairly good drive to the RV Park at Columbus. It is
a Thousand Trails Park and we are here with Passport America. We saw lots of
deer as we left the last Park and again at this Park.
After we got set up, I went and filled the truck. Diesel was
$3.279 per gallon. I could have got it for less, but would have had to drive
several miles and decided it wasn't worth the extra time and fuel to save 10
cents per gallon.
We are only staying here tonight and then go on to San
Antonio.
There we are staying at Travelers World RV Resort. Although we will be there 3 nights, we only
get one night with Passport America, but I decided it was better to be closer
to the sights of San Antonio than the Coast to Coast Park I had reserved, which
was about 45 minutes from anything in the City. The Park is only 3 miles from
The Alamo.
We will be meeting Susan of Travel Bug blog. She works at
the Park we are going to stay in and I talked to her and tentatively set
something up with her. This will be way more convenient for all of us.
I hope it warms up in the next few days. While it is colder
in Salt Lake City, it hasn't been warm enough here to do much outside.
Thanks for visiting.
Have a good time in San Antonio. It was cold and snowing when we were there.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! I'll see you when you check in.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here, but definitely not snowing. Snow is rare here.
