Store in our Park, Full Moon, and Working

Yuma, Arizona             High 71 Low 53

Yesterday we had lots of rain again. It did cool things off which was nice.

We had a big full moon Tuesday evening but we did't get the best pictures.

I managed to get some pictures of a road runner that was trying to get a humming bird by going up the tree where the little bird had a nest. I think I scared it into leaving the Hummer alone by trying to get it's picture.

The cafe in Our Park is closed but they have started to take food orders, mostly they order and then you decide if you want any of the items they bring in. We did buy a few things and are going to buy a few more tomorrow. The pickup area is marked off with masking tape to show everyone how far to stay apart in order to maintain proper distancing.

One of the renters in our Park is a very good carpenter and handy man. He has been bored out of his mind, so I suggested that we build a proper landing and step at our front and back door. He was more than game and so we have been spending most of the last two days working on my project. We finished the back which was a lot more involved today. Tomorrow we will work on the front.

This is what we started out with. This is the front but the back had the same Styrofoam covered with concrete pad which moves very easily.

This is Paul, our renter neighbor.

I think the back turned out very nice.

Thanks for visiting.

  2. Wow .... that's amazing!! Good work you two!! Interesting the store is purchasing things for the park. Makes it easier if they have what you need. Cooler temps here for the next few days. I see Utah is requiring paperwork now to get across the border. I sure hope this ends soon. I've had about enough!! I bet Cindy has twenty quilts done. You will never catch up!! LOL
