Virginia Beach, Virginia High 73 Low 59
It is warmer here than Gordonsville. It was a nice sunshiny
day and we had a pleasant drive to Indian Cove Resort.
We timed our drive so that we could stop and see Jim andSandi and have lunch with them. We met them at the Mechanicsville Cracker
Barrel. When we suggested meeting them for lunch, I asked Sandi if I would be
able to get in and out with the trailer and she assured me that it was easy.
They had a large RV area and the exit off the interstate to the restaurant was
an easy off and back on.
We enjoyed visiting with them and almost an hour and a half
slipped away so very fast. We talked about our further travels and promised to
visit with them when we get to Quartzsite this coming January.
Penny met Jim and Sandi and she seemed to like Sandi very
much. We told Sandi how spoiled Penny is getting, and she replied that's why you have dogs.
After lunch we continued on our way to Virginia Beach and
arrived here just after 4:00 o’clock. This park has canals by most sites and we
are backed into one of the canals. It seems like a well-kept up Park and the
office lady was friendly. There are not a lot of trees but the Park has lots of
grass and the sites seemed very level. Our trailer is on concrete and the
hook-ups are very convenient. We will be here three nights and then move to the
outer banks of North Carolina as we travel south.
Tomorrow we want see the beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
Thanks for visiting.
Thanks for stopping by guys. It was great to see you guys and to meet Penny.
