Wellton, Arizona High 84 Low 57
Yesterday afternoon we had barley got back to the RV Park, when Eddie and Barbara drove up and asked us if we would like to go to lunch with them at Geronimo's Restaurant in Wellton. I said sure, and we followed them to the restaurant because they had some of their relatives with them. Sorry for the quality of the picture, but I couldn't get the sun to co-operate.
The restaurant is a Mexican place in spite of it's name. The food was pretty good and we spent some time visiting with Eddie and Barbara and their family.
Today there was a Park wide yard sale, and we walked almost 3 miles looking at things, but didn't find anything we wanted to buy. There were a lot of things for sale.
We had stopped in at the Rec Center last week when they had card making going on, and one of the ladies had some for sale. There was also a bake sale going on.
I don't have a lot of pictures to post, so I am going to put some more of Cindy's pictures of the Castle Rock Museum.
These are inside the restored school.
There were thousands of veterans signatures inside one little building, and they invited any veterans to sign. |
These are from inside the Mercantile building. |
This sheriff's office is where Penny and I were in a jail cell.
Thanks for visiting.
