Quilting

Fort Mohave, Arizona                                  High 72 Low 50

Today was nice and warm, although very windy again. The temperature was just right.

This morning we went to a craft and quilting thing at the clubhouse. There were several ladies there and everyone seemed to have a good time visiting and doing whatever craft they were working on. It lasted about 2 hours.

This evening there was a pitch in with soup provided. There was lots of good food and very tasty desserts. There was a large turn-out.

This Park seems to have a lot going on all the time. A lady we sat with for dinner lives here all the time. We asked her about the summers, and she told us it wasn't too bad until it got to 120 degrees. That is way too hot for me. We plan on heading north for the summer.

Tomorrow we head further south, but not all the way to Quartzsite yet.

We were planning on staying here until after lunch, but the forecast is for more wind with gusts to 35 miles an hour, so we will leave fairly early in the morning. We only have a 2 hour drive and hope to beat the wind. We have noticed it starts up at about 10:30 to 11:00 o’clock. We are going to spend a week at the Emerald Cove RV Resort in Earp, California. Using Coast to Coast it will cost $2.50 per day.

Thanks for visiting.
