Dobby's Frontier Town

It turned chilly today. I guess fall has finally arrived.

On our recent trip, we went through Alliance, Nebraska. We had read about Dobb's Frontier Town on Roadside America. Dobby Lee started the town from a milk house he transformed into a scaled replica of the first Alliance Post Office. Then in 1987, he started bringing in additional buildings until now there are 27 different buildings from old times. 

We thought this embalming table was  interesting.

The volunteers told us that the day we were there was the last week day it was open this season. They do have week end activities.
