Linn Valley Lakes, Kansas High 82 Low 62
It rained off and on last night and a little this morning but had quit by 11:00.
Cindy and I went into the nearby town of La Cynge (don't ask me how to pronounce it). The had a small grocery store and we bought a few things including tick and flea solution for Penny and Linda's dog and cat. Linda had found 2 ticks on Goliath (her Yorkie) from this Park and we felt that it wouldn't be a bad idea to help protect them.
Then Linda had to go to the nearest Walmart which is about 30 miles from us and asked us if we wanted to go with her. We decided we did and ended up spending more money at Walmart. Their Mom stayed in the Motor Home while we were gone.
Cindy decided to work on a quilt kit she has had in the fifth wheel since we were in Albuquerque a year and a half ago. The middle had a hot air balloon panel to which we added pieces to make a throw. She got it mostly sewed together, but wants to make it larger, so will have to get more material so she can finish it.
That was the extent of our day.
