Mesquite, Nevada
High 61 Low 36
Update: We left home by 9:00 this morning and took Teesa
home. We got away from their home at about 11:00.
We had an uneventful ride until we stopped at Costco in St.
George for gas. They were really busy and I left the car running while I waited
for my turn at the pump. So far so good. After fueling I tried to start the car
and all it would do is turn over, so the attendants helped me push the car into
a parking space. At this time I’m thinking we might have to call somebody to
come and look, but I raised the hood and wiggled a few wires. I really didn’t
find anything wrong, but when I tried to start it again, it started. All I can
think is that it overheated a little bit and opening the hood let it cool off
enough to start. I guess we almost busted.
We then went to Scarp Apple Quilts, where Cindy found some
matching material on sale, some of it for $3.00 a yard. We spent about $35.00
on material (as if we don’t have enough).
Again the car started without even a whimper, and we drove
to Mesquite, where we are staying the night.
Tomorrow we will leave early to go to Yuma.
I will tell the reason for the trip to Yuma in a later post.
Thanks for visiting.
Glad you are finally heading into warmer weather. But even gladder that the car starts.
ReplyDeleteNEVER too much material!! Although with six ready for quilting, I'm getting a little low. Just in time to head south for more!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like dirty battery posts to me... Clean them up and spray the with the red corrosion stuff...
