Cheyenne, Wyoming High48 Low 38
Why are we in Cheyenne? We have wanted to go to South Dakota to see a new (to us) sight, which was built since we were through South Dakota last time we drove through. I'll talk about it after we have got pictures. It seems a little cool here compared to Riverton, Utah. The weather guessers for here are predicting high 20's later in the week.
At a rest stop almost to Cheyenne, there is a Lincoln Memorial, which I thought was quite neat.
When we left this morning, I told Cindy that we probably see some snow (the awful 4 letter word) on this trip, and sure enough, there was some at the Lincoln Memorial. There was a sign that said this was the highest point on I80 in Wyoming and it was colder than here in Cheyenne.
The next two pictures are along I80 after the rest stop and are the only pretty part of Wyoming we have seen so far in Wyoming. When we were on our way to Wyoming, I told Cindy that the only thing along I80 for many miles, was lots of miles. There is not much to see besides wind mills and sage brush in this part of the state.
I'll have more pictures on my next post.
Thanks for visiting.
