Happy Mothers Day

Riverton, Utah          High 80 Low 48

It has been a little warmer than usual for this time of year with the weather guessers predicting record highs this coming week.

Monday I had another tooth pulled. This time it hasn't gone as well as last time. Where the tooth came out, the stitches seemed to come out a lot sooner than they should have. Since Friday, my mouth has felt like I  have been hit in the face. I called the dentist, and the soonest they cay get me in is tomorrow.

Tuesday we had a block party for Cinco de Mayo. Quite a few people were there, but I don't think as many as last year.

There was also a small car show with the party.

I have also finished two more quilts. Cindy sure likes lot of small pieces!

This Harry Potter Quilt is from a kit Cindy got. She had so much fabric left over, she made a really fancy back for it.

Today Tammy, Cindy's daughter, is coming over for a Mothers Day Lunch, which she says she us going to prepare. Of course Cindy is putting in a lot of work also.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there.

Thanks for visiting.

It's May Already

Riverton, Utah       High 75 Low 49

The weather has been very nice and the weather guessers say the warm temperatures will continue with no chance of freezing.

Cindy has been busy planting her garden because of the warmer temperatures.

I have been busy quilting, mostly easy quilts.

During the week, I had one of my customers bring me five small Place mats, wall hangings, and table toppers to have quilted. Some of them, if not the smallest ever quilted, are right there with the smallest. And after I finished them, she brought one more to quilt. Those in the know will relate to only using 1 1/2 yards of batting for all of them.

The ine you can't read is identical to the other May one.

Tomorrow I got to the dentist to have one more tooth pulled.

Thanks for visiting.
